Mission Statement
The mission of the Onboarding Team is to ensure that DOM provides organizational socialization or onboarding so that new hires are emotionally, physically, and professionally integrated into the culture, values and operations of the organization.
Initiatives
Pre-employment through first four weeks
- New Hire Letter
Finalized template for a letter that managers can send out 1 week prior to start date that includes relevant information for the first day/week - Welcome Day
Job Specific
- Roadmap – helping managers understand training requirements for positions
Post Employment Check-In
- Supportive manager guides to facilitate check-ins around 30, 60, 90 days
- Routine scheduled 1:1 meeting with employees
Hope for the future: Contribute to formation of centralized website for onboarding
