Career Pathing and Mentorship
Mission Statement
The mission of the Career Pathing, Mentorship and Leadership Team is to open and reveal possibilities for career pathing for all DOM staff, Pitt and UPMC. It is our goal to have clear and distinct pathways for staff to build skills, expand their network, and access mentors who can provide feedback. It is our hope that our committee will uplift staff to imagine where they want their career to progress and have available the resources to begin the process.
Career Pathing
Career Pathing will work with Divisions to develop structure in research operations to provide support and guidance for career development and advancement.
Mentorship
Mentorship is the guidance provided by a mentor, matched with a mentee of like career goals, to provide support and guidance during initial phase of employment.
